LIZ SOLOMON

PRESIDENT

Liz Solomon (she/her) sees consuming healthy local foods as an act of resistance. Liz tries to make everyone love native plants as a Landscape Designer at WLA Studio. She spends her free time riding her bike, being mediocre at gardening, building and making stuff, and cooking overly elaborate weeknight meals. Liz is also on the board of Bike Athens, where she serves as a League Cycling Instructor helping lead group rides and classes. Liz pops in Daily Groceries for delicious snacks and chance run-ins with friends. She has served on the Daily board since 2018 and has been acting board president since June 2022.

Amelia

AMELIA HERB

Vice-President

Amelia Herb learned what a community could gain from an active co-op environment while living in Carrboro, NC and enjoying membership perks at Weaver Street Co-op. She spent her formative years traveling the US and parts of Europe, then graduated from Indiana Purdue University of Fort Wayne in 2003. She opened and ran a salon and art gallery in Tiger, G.A. before relocating. Amelia and her daughter now reside in New Town Athens, GA where they enjoy walking to school and work.
